Juniors Development Organisation is a community-based group working across Nairobi and beyond — visiting children's homes, running pad drives for girls and women, and supporting Quran distribution in underserved areas.
Juniors Development Organisation exists to promote human welfare — a simple mission carried out through direct, hands-on visits and drives rather than distant giving. We show up in person at children's homes and communities, carrying food, clothing, sanitary items, and other essentials.
Based in Nairobi, our activities have reached children's homes in the city and as far as Namanga, pad drives in two Nairobi settlements, and a Quran drive as far as Mwingi — a reflection of how far a small, committed group is willing to travel for the people who need support.
Three ongoing strands of work — each one a direct response to a need we saw in a specific community.
We visit children's homes to provide food, clothing and other sanitary items, spending time with the children as part of every visit.
We've run pad drives in two Nairobi settlements, distributing sanitary pads directly to girls and women in the community.
Our Quran drive reached Mwingi, providing copies of the Quran to the community there.
